Cardingmill Valley

on the Long Mynd at Church Stretton

Cardingmill Valley (sometimes shown as Carding Mill Valley) twists and turns its way into the eastern edge of The Long Mynd, close to Church Stretton. It is a popular centre for walking, picnicking or just sitting.

The path into the valley provides several footpaths onto the Long Mynd, as well as to the old Church Stretton reservoir and Lightspout Waterfall.

Cardingmill Valley is in the care of The National Trust.
